6oz bottle of Kapp Comet Flux has been designed specifically for soldering Copper, Brass, & Stainless Steel. Highly recommended for use with Silver solders on Stainless Steel and Copper when soldering temperatures are between 350°F - 550°F (177°C - 288°C). Excellent wetting properties. Effective fluxing action on metal surfaces is 350°F- 550°F (177°C - 288°C). NOTE: COMET FLUX WILL CHAR AT TEMPERATURES EXCEEDING 550°F (288°C). Residue is slightly corrosive, and easily removed with hot water rinse, or a clean wet rag. Soldering flux is corrosive, and can thus ship only via UPS Ground. It is a lead-free product.
